All the BONUSES you can benefit in Italy in 2024
Dear brothers and sisters,
We want to discuss here what are the many bonuses that you can benefit from in 2024: from tax breaks dedicated to the home, to those for family and work. Let’s try to understand exactly what these are and find out what the main bonuses are for 2024:
Superbonus, Ecobonus, Restructuring Bonus, Fixture Bonus, Bill Bonus, Architectural Barriers Bonus, others 2024 Household Bonuses, Family Bonus, Youth Bonus: Culture and Merit Card, Car Bonus, Student Bonus, Spending Savings Card, others Family Bonuses, Work Bonus, Hire Bonus 2024, Employee Bonus, Working Mom Bonus, and other bonuses.
Here we will focus on the main HOUSE BONUSES OF 2024.
Home benefits in 2024 offer a wide range of opportunities, from tax reductions with Superbonus 70% to Green bonus and support for energy bills. Here are all the house bonuses available in 2024:
Superbonus
In 2024, we will say goodbye to the 110% Superbonus. The much-discussed tax relief in the current year has a 70% deduction.
Ecobonus
The 65% and 50% Ecobonus will be in force until 31st December 2024. This is a deduction from IRPEF or IRES, to be divided into 10 annual installments of the same amount, the amount of which varies depending on whether the intervention concerns the individual real estate unit or the condominium buildings and the year in which it was carried out. You would need to carry out the interventions on real estate units and on existing buildings (or on parts of buildings), registered or for which the stacking has been requested, of any cadastral category, even if rural.
Renovation bonus
The Renovation bonus is an IRPEF deduction of 50% on the expenses for the renovation of homes and common parts of residential buildings and will be active until 31st December 2024. This is a benefit governed by Article 16-bis of Presidential Decree no. 917/86 which was extended by the 2022 Budget Law to 31st December 2024 with the possibility of taking advantage of the higher IRPEF deduction (50%) and the maximum spending limit of 96.000,00 euros for each real estate unit. From 1st January 2025 it is expected that the deduction will return to the ordinary measure of 36% and with a limit of 48.000,00 euros.
Fixtures bonus
The window bonus is due to the owners of the properties, the tenants, the borrowers, the cohabiting family members and all those who have the house in use or usufruct. It is important that the property is stacked or in the stacking phase. As is the case for many incentives for home improvement work, the terms for taking advantage of the fixed bonus in the current form expire on 31st December 2024. To benefit from this, this needs to be not a new installation, but a replacement of existing fixtures.
Bill bonus
The Bill bonus from 1st January 2024 has returned to being operational for those who have an Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) up to 9.530,00 euros. In detail, from this year the social incentives for families in conditions of economic hardship belong to families with an ISEE not exceeding 9.530,00 euros; families with an ISEE not exceeding 20.000,00 euros who have at least 4 dependent children. The bonus is paid automatically after the presentation of the ISEE 2024 if all the requirements are met.
Architectural barriers bonus
The 2024 architectural barriers bonus changes slightly compared to last year, in fact the facilitated interventions have decreased, and the possibility of transferring the credit has also been limited. This Bonus can only be applied for the implementation of interventions involving stairs, ramps, lifts, service stairs, and lifting platforms and limited to existing buildings.
The other 2024 Household bonuses
There are also other important bonuses for the house:
- Furniture bonuses, which consists of a 50% deduction on expenses incurred and documented for the purchase of furniture and appliances;
- Sismabonus, whose percentage of tax-deductible expenditure can vary from 50% to 85%, depending on the type of interventions carried out;
- Green bonus, an IRPEF deduction of 36% on the expenses incurred for the green accommodation of private open areas of buildings, real estate units, etc;
- Video surveillance bonus or safety bonus, a benefit that falls within the tax deductions for building renovations.
